Real-time process analysis for your bioprocessing needs

Raman spectroscopy is a recognized PAT (Process Analytical Tool) that has been seen as a central spectroscopic tool used in bioprocessing. It plays a pivotal role in the monitoring of fermentations, particularly their optimization within the PAT framework and harnesses biological processes for the development of drug therapies, providing treatments that range from small molecule antibiotics to large recombinant proteins.

Despite the significant growth of Raman spectroscopy in bioprocessing, users still face many challenges. Among these is the need to collect and consolidate data from differing sources to build models at scale.

Thanks to our collaborators at Sartorius, the game has changed. BioPAT® Spectro embraces Quality by Design (QbD) principles and unlocks the potential of Raman spectroscopy. BioPAT® Spectro is compatible with Tornado’s HyperFlux™ PRO Plus Raman analyzer. Consisting of a multi-use flow cell integrated into the Ambr® analysis module, BioPAT® Spectro in Ambr® has been successfully demonstrated by major pharmaceutical companies.
